Ocean Freight – Peak Season Starts Early

Ocean freight costs are expected to climb throughout the summer as peak shipping season kicks off earlier than usual. Many importers are accelerating their timelines to secure inventory ahead of potential delays and cost increases. This surge in demand is putting added pressure on capacity and rates across major trade lanes. To avoid disruptions, we recommend booking shipments early. Netchem is working closely with our logistics partners to stay ahead of these trends and keep you informed.

Get Ahead of Demand – Let’s Talk Forecasts

As we move into the second half of the year, now is the ideal time to review your inventory needs and secure supply for Q3 and Q4. Sharing your forecasts helps us better align with your timelines and ensure availability when you need it most. Please reach out to your Netchem sales rep for your upcoming needs!

Reminder: China’s Fall Holiday Shutdown

China’s Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Holiday will run from September 28 to October 8, 2025. Most factories and ports will shut down during this time. We recommend placing orders well in advance to avoid any delays.
