Benzylidene Acetone

Netchem is a benzylidene acetone supplier to the electroplating industry. Benzylidene acetone is an intermediate in the production of brighteners for zinc plating. In acid chloride zinc plating baths a concentration of 50 – 500 mg is suggested. The baths usually require a solubilizing compound for the benzylidene acetone. Benzylidene acetone adds brightness to a very wide current-density range, but importantly it adds brightness and luster to very low current-density areas such as deep recesses.
